FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Deputies are looking for the driver behind a deadly hit and run crash in Monroe County.
The crash happened just before 3 a.m. Saturday on Heiss Road, about three-quarters of a mile west of Telegraph Road in Frenchtown Township.

27-year-old Gregory Grubb from Maybee, Michigan, had stopped his Geo Prism in the eastbound lane of Heiss Road and got out of the vehicle for an unknown reason. He was struck by a passing Dodge Ram and died at the scene.
Deputies are now looking for the driver of a 1994 to 2001 Dodge Ram Pickup truck with front end damage.
