ROCKWOOD, Mich. – Rockwood police say a 13-year-old boy who went missing Wednesday around 3:30 p.m. has been reunited with his family.
Officials said the boy's backpack was found near the Huron River.

Police and Monroe County deputies had K-9s and helicopters actively searching for Painter in the area Wednesday night.
Rockwood police said the boy, identified as Kole Lee Painter, was found hiding under a train overpass, which is apparently one of his favorite spots.
Painter was later reunited with his family.
No other details were provided.
