Elderly couple found safe after missing for 24 hours

UPDATE: Henry and Earline have since been found safe. Family members say they are at home and doing well.

DETROIT – Detroit police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing elderly couple who have not been heard from for over 24 hours.

Police say Earline Wesley and Henry Harris were last seen by their daughter before leaving together for a doctor’s appointment, Monday afternoon.

Earline is described as an 84-year-old woman with a brown complexion, brown eyes, and brown hair. She wears glasses, stands about 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.

Police say Earline was last seen wearing an olive green pant set, adding she suffers from dementia, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

Henry is described as an 88-year-old man, six feet one inch tall, and weighs approximately 185 pounds.

Henry has a dark brown complexion and was last seen wearing a short sleeve plaid shirt, drivers cap, and sunglasses.

Detroit police say he also suffers from dementia.

The couple was last seen driving in a black 2013 Buick Regal.
