Police seek assistance in locating missing 66-year-old man

He was last seen July 24

A 66-year-old man has been reported missing from his group home in the 4000 block of Fullerton.

William Skiles was last seen by his caregiver on July 24 around 10 p.m. before taking medication.

His caregiver says when he was checked on the next morning at 6 a.m., he was gone.

Skiles is a white male, 6 feet tall, and 170 pounds. He has a fair complexion, blue eyes, grey hair and is sporting a beard.

He was last seen wearing a blazer, a gray shirt, and khaki pants.

Detroit police say Skiles suffers from schizophrenia and takes medication for both mental and health related concerns adding Skiles has not taken any medication since July 24.

Police say William does not respond to his given name, but calls himself ‘Don Laimbertson’ and may be apprehensive when around people.
