In surveillance video released by police you can see the car approach the intersection and stop outside the Express Poultry. Once the woman walks out of the store the suspected purse snatcher jumps out of the car and grabs the woman's purse. The force used is so violent that the woman falls to the ground.

The video shows witnesses who tried to intervene and stop the car, but the suspect fled in the car north on Payne Avenue.

The purse was recovered in the 9000 block of St. Marys Street in Detroit. Bank cards, cash, jewelry and a wallet containing paperwork all were missing.

"We will use all available resources to identify and apprehend the suspects," said Dearborn Police Chief R. Haddad in a news release.

Anyone with information on the robbery and suspect is asked to contact Dearborn police at 313-943-3030.
