MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. - Macomb County Sheriff's investigators are searching for people who were in downtown Mount Clemens during the early morning hours of Saturday, Aug. 31.
That's when a woman was struck and injured by a driver who did not stop. The woman was crossing 3rd and Dickinson streets about 1:40 a.m. when she was struck by the vehicle.
The driver first stopped for a moment and told witness he would go call 911. However, he took off and never returned.
The man is described as white and in his late 20s with a fuzzy beard.
The victim is in stable condition.
Anyone with information on this hit-and-run is asked to contact the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.
