Police: Woman attacked by man while walking in Fraser

Woman tells Fraser police man ran up, pushed her down, tried to rip off her clothes

FRASER, Mich. – Fraser police are investigating a report from a woman who says she was attacked and assaulted by a man Monday morning while she was walking on 14 Mile Road near Mulvey Road.

The woman told police the man ran up from behind and pushed her down. He ripped her shirt and bra and grabbed her breasts. He then tried to rip her pants.

The woman received a swollen lip during the attack. She was able to push the man away. He fled in an unknown direction when a vehicle drove by.

The woman ran to a nearby business where she called police.

The suspect is described as a white man who is balding. He was wearing thin glasses. The woman said he had a heavy smell of aftershave. She couldn't give any more details on his description, police said.
