Hansen Clarke falls to Gary Peters for redrawn 14th Congressional District

DETROIT -

Gary Peters downed rival Hansen Clarke Tuesday in the Democratic primary for the 14th Congressional District.

Peters and Clarke were thrown into the same district after Michigan's Congressional maps were redrawn.

Experts say Clarke lost because he had anemic fundraising and a passionless campaign.

Peters will be on the November ballot.
