Vice presidential candidate spends Monday in Metro Detroit ahead of debate Thursday

ROCHESTER, Mich. -

Kid Rock is expected to join Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan Monday night at a rally on the campus of Oakland University.

The rally will be held at the university's Athletics Center O'rena at 7:30 p.m.

Ryan also plans to visit Detroit's Cornerstone School earlier in the day for a roundtable discussion.

On Thursday, Ryan faces Vice President Joe Biden for a debate in Kentucky.
