Laptops, cameras stolen from office on Monroe Street in Greektown

DETROIT -

The Detroit office of Democratic Congressmen Hansen Clarke was burglarized overnight.

Laptops, cameras, camcorders and offices supplies were discovered stolen Thursday morning from the office that is on Monroe Street in Greektown.

Police are investigating.

Gary Peters downed rival Clarke in the August primary for the Democratic primary for the 14th Congressional District.

Peters and Clarke were thrown into the same district after Michigan's Congressional maps were redrawn.
