Detroit mayoral forum held Wednesday night at United Way

3 focus areas of forum include basic needs, education and financial stability

DETROIT – A Detroit mayoral forum was held Wednesday night at the United Way for Southeastern Michigan at 600 Woodward.

The event ran from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Detroiters had an opportunity to hear from several candidates including Mike Duggan, Lisa Howze, Krystal Crittendon, John Telford, Jean Vortkamp, Herman Griffin, Fred Durhal, Angelo Brown, D'Artagnan Collier and Sigmunt Szczepkowski.

The forum focused on the United Way mission and engage candidates in three focus areas; basic needs, education and financial stability. 

Questions were asked by Detroit residents who represent the United Way for Southeastern Michigan.
