Flashpoint: Examining issues from Gov. Snyder, Pres. Obama

DETRIOT – Flashpoint began with a discussion about Governor Rick Snyder's State of the State. State Rep. Kurt Heise said that he thought Snyder's speech was a success and builds off of his success from the past and looks toward the future.

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, Detroit News columnist Daniel Howes and Civil Rights activist Portia Roberson also offered their opinions on the State of the State.

In the second segment, the talk turned to Michigan roads and Snyder's plan to fix them.

Roberson was critical of Snyder's decision to put the road funding to a vote instead of making the decision and putting it into action.
