DETROIT -

Mike Duggan has been hustling.

He said if there is one thing that he was sure of it's that he would not be outworked in this election.

It has been a weird one from the beginning with the "is he or isn't he?" on the ballot issue to a decisive win over all challengers in the August primary. It was a practically unheard of feat for a write-in candidate in the Detroit mayoral election.

Now, as the front-runner, Duggan has been out working the polls, so much so that he had started to lose his voice.

"I'm doing a lot better than my voice, I'll tell you that," he said. "Too much talking, I guess."
