Pontiac man recovering from gunshot wound

The 28-year-old was shot in the leg early Sunday morning

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan – A Pontiac man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the leg early Sunday morning.

Auburn Hills Police responded to a call around 2:40a.m. for reports of a person shot at the intersection of Phillips and Shimmons Road. When they arrived, they discovered the 28-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police are questioning a 28-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman who were at the scene. A firearm was also recovered at the location.
