PONTIAC, Mich. - A woman was held at gunpoint and beaten Thursday by two men who had forced their way into her Pontiac home, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said.
In a statement about the incident, deputies said the 53-year-old victim had opened the door to her home in the 50 block of Cherry Hill because she thought it was someone she had been expecting. But the men pushed their way inside and a gun was pointed at her while she was beaten to the floor.
One of the men searched her home but then they both fled without apparently taking anything, deputies said.
The woman suffered minor injuries to the back of her head.
A detailed description of the woman's attackers wasn't released.
