An escaped prisoner who had been on the run from Detroit police since December has been caught.
Adrian O'Brian Clay, 25, escaped Dec. 28 from the Detroit Reentry Center.
Police had released his picture and were seeking tips from the public as to his whereabouts. Police said Clay was found within a mile of where he escaped, but didn't immediately release any other details.
Corrections records show Clay was sentenced in 2005 for carjacking and weapons offenses. He was paroled in early December and assigned to the Reentry Center.
