DETROIT -

Three puppies are awaiting loving homes for the holidays after being rescued from an abandoned home in Detroit by the Michigan Humane Society. A rescue driver was dispatched to the abandoned house on Monday, December 16th near Dickerson and Harper. A concerned citizen called the Michigan Humane Society after seeing the three Corgi mix puppies in the area.

When the rescue worker arrived, the puppies were huddled together in the driveway. The puppies were then taken to the MHS Detroit Center for Animal Care. They were examined by an MHS veterinarian. The puppies are in good health and have been vaccinated.

The puppies were named Dasher, Prancer and Santa Paws. They are available for adoption at the MHS Detroit Center for Animal Care located at 7401 Chrysler Drive.
