The small gift was a $10 dollar Target gift card.

Joel said, "While you may buy anything you would like with this gift perhaps using it for something that makes you or someone else."

Joel wants to know who is behind this random act of kindness.  "When I initially got this, i looked around and didn't see any envelopes on any other cars. So maybe they were just waiting for the right people."

He wonders who is Pierce?  Joel wants to know his story.

"Something probably happened to him, probably not to good. And his parents or guardians want to get his name out to turn something tragic into something positive.

Joel says he is not going to keep the gift card, he is going to pay it forward in honor of Pierce.  "It is important because someone reached out to me, I think it is important for me to reach out to everybody else."
