Rash of car break-ins reported at Farmington Hills parks, ice arena

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Farmington Hills police said a rash of car break-ins were reported Sunday at Heritage Park, Founder Park and the ice arena.

Most of the cars had their windows smashed and valuables, which were left in plain view, stolen.

Police are asking anyone who discovers their car broken into to not touch anything and call them right away.

Police also said cars should always be locked, parked in well-lit areas and valuables should never be left in them.

Anyone with information on the car break-ins is asked to call Farmington Hills police at 248-871-2610.
