Rash of home break-ins reported in Ann Arbor

Police say residents need to lock doors, windows

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Ann Arbor police say there's been a rash of home break-ins this week near the University of Michigan.

Early Monday morning, a student woke up at about 4 a.m. to two strange men in her home in the 700 block of Division.

Since then, police said there have been four other reported break-ins in the same area:

600 block of Oxford

900 block of Oakland

900 block of South Forest

700 block of Division

Police said it appears the intruders got in through unlocked doors and windows.
