Redford police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing man who was last seen Friday afternoon.
Police said 34-year-old Steven Anthony Kessler, who lives at an assisted living home in Wyandotte, was last seen walking away from a grocery store in the area of Joy and Telegraph roads in Redford.

Kessler is described as a white male, 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He stands approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and was last seen wearing a yellow ball cap, dark coat, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
Police said Kessler takes medication for a mental illness.
