HOWELL, Mich. - A drenched doggy was rescued Tuesday after he fell into a storm drain in a Howell neighborhood.
The Livingston Daily reported the 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier named Max was safely hauled out by fire and police crews in the Chelsea Ridge condo neighborhood.
Max's owner, Michele Bahl, told the paper the pup is a "Rottweiler trapped in a Yorkie body" and isnt' afraid to venture out of their yard to chase groundhogs.
Some girls in the neighborhood heard the dog's cries, and with the help of another neighbor, tracked down Bahl.
Rescuers were able to pull the dog out within minutes, where he was wrapped up and taken home.
