Residents protest plan for new Whole Foods in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. – The plan for a new Whole Foods store in Birmingham has drawn push-back from some community members.

The store would be located at the intersection of Maple Road and Eaton Street. Several people living in the area say the store would bring more traffic and ruin parking for homeowners.

A protest is planned for Monday evening at the Birmingham Municipal Building.
