Resolution calls for Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano to resign

Wayne County Commission Vice Chair Pro-tem Laura Cox to submit resolution on May 17

DETROIT – Wayne County Commission Vice Chair Pro-tem Laura Cox, R-Livonia, is calling for Executive Robert Ficano to immediately resign his position for the "good of the county."

"I'm just finally fed up. Enough is enough. We have too many things going wrong in Wayne County. We have appointee after appointee getting criminal complaints of indictments," Cox told Local 4. "Enough is enough and I just can't sit quiet anymore."

On May 17, Commissioner Cox will submit a resolution at the formal meeting of the County Commission.
