Reward offered to find driver in Detroit fatal hit-and-run

DETROIT – Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a driver who hit and killed a man in April on Detroit's east side.

Kevin Sorsby, 53, was leaving the Mr. S Party store in the 12000 block of Morang Avenue when he was hit.

Crime Stoppers said Sorsby was known as the handyman in his neighborhood and was referred to as the gentle giant.

If a tip leads to an arrest by midnight Thursday, $1,000 will be added to the reward.
