Robber strikes CVS store in St. Clair Shores

Police say man implies he has gun, takes cash from register

ST CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – St. Clair Shores police are looking for the man who robbed a CVS Pharmacy Monday morning.

The robbery happened at the store on Harper Street about 1 a.m.

Police said the man waited in line and approached the cashier calmly indicating he had a gun and needed the money from the register.

No gun was seen, but implied.

When the cash register was open, the man removed the cash drawer and fled the store. He got away with an undetermined amount of money, leaving northbound through the parking lot.

The thief is a medium to light skinned black male, clean shaven, 30-40 years old, approximately six feet tall and 170-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray fleece jacket and black and white knit stocking cap.
