Rogue Detroit councilman staying at Seattle Hotel
Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh avoiding public eye in wake of alleged inappropriate relationship with teen
Charles Pugh was spotted in Seattle on Friday by a Local 4 viewer who snapped a photo of him sitting in a Starbucks.
Saturday Local 4 has confirmed Pugh is staying at The Grand Hyatt Hotel while in Seattle.
When local 4 called The Grand Hyatt Saturday an employee transferred the call to his room and confirmed someone with the name of Pugh is staying there.
Pugh has been MIA since before emergency manager Kevin Orr denied his request for sick leave earlier this week. Orr since issued an order to strip Pugh of his 76,000 salary.

A lawsuit from a local mother alleging Pugh had an inappropriate relationship with her son is expected to be filed Monday. Pugh had been mentoring at the Detroit Public Schools' Douglass Academy for three years. The mother of one of the students claims Pugh bought her son clothes, gave him cash, took him off campus and bought him a cellphone, which has alleged text messages from Pugh on it.
The now rogue councilman deleted his social media accounts and simply disappeared from the public eye leaving the view of City Council in shambles.
Local 4 caught up with Governor Rick Snyder and he weighed in on how Pugh's personal matters are nothing but a distraction for Detroit.
"We need to stay focused on getting the city growing again," said Snyder.
