However, Roseville Police Chief James Berlin the proprietors of Smokers Alley 27738 Gratiot were found in possession of a large quantity of K-2 along with bath salts, with both items packaged for resale and open for sale despite the ban. He said some of it was hidden.

Berlin said detectives were particularly worried about the packaging the drugs were coming in.

"Pac-man images on them, Scooby Snax, things that kids would gravitate towards. But yet they are marked "adults only" on the packages. It's clearly marketed towards young people, children," Berlin said.

All of the substances within the store were seized. During the course of the seizure it was found that the store owners were in possession of a quantity of marijuana and an illegally possessed gun. As a result both the store owner and an employee were arrested and after being booked and processed were released from custody pending the issuance of charges by the Macomb County Prosecutors Office.
