ROYAK OAK – The city of Royal Oak kicks off their "12 Days of Christmas" community event on Thursday.
The event was created by the Royal Oak Assosiation of Retailers and will offer 12 days of shopping benefits from tax-free purchases to customer appreciation days.

The event also includes a canned food drive to benefit Forgotten Harvest. At participating locations, shoppers will rceive a percentage off their purchase for each can of food donated.
