DETROIT – Detroiters United and the Jason Richardson Foundation are hosting a youth empowerment day on Saturday.
The event will serve more than 400 at-risk youths and their families.

It is scheduled from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Northwestern High School in Detroit.
Detroit Pistons Ben Gordon and Tayshaun Prince and Michigan State alum Jason Richardson are expected to attend.
Roy Roberts, the emergency manager for Detroit Public School, will serve as the honorary co-chair.
