DETROIT – No children were hurt Thursday morning when a school bus was involved in a crash on Detroit's east side.
The Safeway Transportation bus and a car collided near Houston Whittier and Hayes streets.

As a precaution, Detroit EMS said crews would still be examining the children.
One person in the car that was involved in the crash was hurt, but a condition was not immediately given.
Local 4 is working to determine which school the students are from.
