A search Friday evening in Lake St. Clair for a missing fisherman was suspended at nightfall.

GROSSE POINTE FARMS, Mich. - The search for missing boater will resume Saturday morning in Lake St. Clair.

A renewed search Friday was suspended as darkness fell.

Marcus Braggs was out fishing the lake last Sunday, but did not return home. A search by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Wayne County Sheriff's dive team failed to find him.

Then on Friday, a sonar scan of the area detected something that brought back the sheriff's dive team along with the Grosse Pointe Farms police.

The area was searched again but nothing was found.

The search was suspended when darkness fell.
