Search team finds body believed to be Flat Rock man

Family said Todd Martinez went missing in December

ROCKWOOD, Mich. – A search team searching for a Flat Rock man missing since December found a body lying face down in the Huron River near the shore line Saturday at 11 a.m.

The search team believes that the body belongs to Todd Martinez, who family members said went missing in December.

Authorities will ask a family member to identify the body Sunday. Medical examiners will investigate the cause of the man's death.

Flat Rock police will continue to follow up on any leads into the cause of death.
