Crime Stoppers seeks tips in Seafred Robinson murder case

DETROIT – Crime Stoppers is offering up to $3,500 for information that leads an arrest in the case of Seafred Robinson, who was murdered Oct. 16 on Detroit's west side.

Robinson and a friend were sitting on Robinson's black Chevy Trailblazer in a driveway around 1:25 a.m. in the 1600 block of Tuller Street between West McNichols Road and Puritan Avenue when they were approached by two unidentified black men.

An argument took place when one of the unidentified men pulled out an automatic weapon. Shots were fired. Robinson was killed, police said.

Robinson's friend fled on foot as several shots were fired at him and missed, police said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in the case. If the tip that leads to an arrest is received by midnight Thursday, $1,000 will be added to the reward, raising the total to $3,500.
