Reward offered in murder of Detroit man

DETROIT – Steven Hill was a father, a brother and a tutor whose killers remain at large.

Hill, 26, was murdered after he left his grandparents’ home on Dec. 1, 2016.

He left the home with an unknown individual around 6 p.m. but never returned. Detectives informed his grandparents that he was killed around 10:10 p.m. by two gunmen in the 17000 block of Snowden Street on Detroit’s west side.

Hill was passionate about basketball. He also tutored college students, and studied business and accounting. He leaves behind 3-year-old Monroe Hill and two sisters, Shalyse and Imani Hill.
