Man who drove semi off Rouge River Bridge: 'I believe in miracles'

Kevin Jackson is sore, but unharmed after truck tumbled off bridge

DETROIT – A semi-truck driver is speaking out after he walked away without injuries in a crash Sunday on northbound I-75, overturning and falling off the Rouge River Bridge.

Kevin Jackson plunged from the bridge after he was cut off on the interstate. He walked away from the crash without injuries.

“It’s hard to believe, but I’ve always had a lot of faith,” Jackson said. “I believe in miracles and I believe that was a miracle.”

Jackson veered over lanes of traffic to avoid hitting any other drivers, plowing through the barrier and off the bridge.
