Sheriff seeks Pontiac 7-Eleven robber

PONTIAC, Mich. – The Oakland County Sheriff's Office hopes a surveillance image can help identify a man who robbed the 7-Eleven in the 1100 block of Baldwin Road in Pontiac.

The Sheriff's Office says the man implied he had a weapon and threatened to kill the convenience store clerk if he wasn't given money. The clerk handed over an unknown amount of money. The robber fled on foot.

The clerk was not injured.

Deputies searched the area but were not able to find the robber. The clerk told deputies he believes the man is a regular customer at the 7-Eleven, but he doesn't know his name.

The robber is described as a white man between 30-35 years old, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing about 230 pounds. He was wearing a gray sweater, black Carhartt coat, black jeans and black shoes.
