Sheriff: Springfield Township woman missing after visiting Detroit

24-year-old Alexys Henbury has not been heard from since Saturday evening

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in the search for a 24-year-old woman who has been missing since Saturday evening.

Alexys Henbury, of Springfield Township, was last heard from about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. She indicated she was in the area of Philadelphia and Linwood streets in Detroit, the Sheriff's Office said.

Henbury has not been seen or heard from since. She did not report to work on Monday or Tuesday and did not attend her college class Monday evening at Baker College in Auburn Hills.

She is described as a white woman standing about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was driving a white, four-door 2015 Ford Focus with Michigan license plate DHE-0978.
