DETROIT – SMART transportation buses will operate full service on Monday, January 6, 2014. However, due to the severe weather conditions, passengers should expect delays.
While the safety of passengers and bus drivers is of utmost concern, SMART urges passengers to take every precaution and dress appropriately, stand at a safe location while waiting for the bus, and make sure to flag the bus driver as the bus approaches the stop.

Weather Alerts and Route and Schedule Information can be found at www.smartbus.org or by calling Customer Service at (866) 962-5515 from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Passengers with scheduled Connector trips should call SMART to either cancel or confirm their trip starting tomorrow morning as early as 6:30 a.m.
SMART requests that vehicles sharing the road with a SMART bus allow extra space between your car and the bus for adequate stopping distance. Please be patient with SMART drivers as they are doing their best to drive safely to get through the winter storm.
