Snowy weather delays trash in handful of metro Detroit cities

DETROIT – Communities served by Rizzo Environmental Services for trash and recyclables will experience a one-day delay due to the storm.

"The locations we dispose of municipal waste are closed today because of the snow," said Joseph Munem, Director of Government Affairs and Public Relations. "Simply put, we have nowhere to take the garbage today."
