Social media manhunt for thief

OAK PARK, Mich. – A couple in Oak Park took to the internet after a break-in at their business, drawing the community’s attention and starting a full-fledged manhunt on social media.

Lemayne and Latoya Burton own Curv Bella Boutique on Coolidge Highway.

Surveillance video shows the break-in at their business over the weekend and they’ve plastered it all over social media in an effort to identify the man.

“I want it to go everywhere,” Lemayne Burton said. “I want oak Park to stand up because we are a community city. We are a friendly city.”

They’re also speaking for four other businesses in Oak Park that were broken into over the weekend.
