Some UAW members reject deal with Fiat Chrysler

The UAW deal with Fiat Chrysler has been met with some opposition.

Workers at the Jefferson North Plant in Detroit rejected the tentative 4-year contract between the United Auto Workers and Fiat Chrysler.

Sources tell Local 4 66% of workers who cast ballots rejected the deal.

A rejection of the contract could force the UAW back to the bargaining table with Fiat Chrysler force a strike or move to negotiation agreements with Ford or General Motors.

Workers at several other plants have yet to complete voting at this time.
