ROMULUS, Mich. – Spirit Airlines' computers were down system wide for more than two hours on Tuesday, causing several flight delays at Detroit Metro Airport.
This also affected the airline's website which is not accessible. The site homepage reads, "PLEASE STAND BY ... we're working on it."

"Our flights are still operating, and you can check in at the airport if you are flying tonight," the statement reads.
According to the website, a power outage at the airline's reservation provider is to blame for the computer failure.
Several hundred people were waiting in line to check in at Metro Airport.
