Starship comes to Rockin' on the Riverfront

Starship expected to take the stage at 9 p.m.

DETROIT – Starship featuring Mickey Thomas comes to Rockin' on the Riverfront on Friday.

Solid State, a band from Metro Detroit, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Starship is expected to start playing at 9 p.m.

Starship formed in the early 1980s and scored several hits in the U.S.

Admission to Rockin' on the Riverfront is free.

Andiamo Detroit Riverfront will provide food and drinks at several locations across the plaza. Outside food, beverages or coolers will not be permitted.

Parking is available for $5 per vehicle, starting at 5:00 p.m., at the GM surface lot at the intersection of St. Antoine and Atwater streets, adjacent to the GM Renaissance Center.
