Substitute teacher at Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights charged with criminal sexual conduct

Police say Christopher Skebo arrested after month-long investigation

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – A 29-year-old substitute teacher at Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights is facing a slew of charges, including criminal sexual conduct.

Sterling Heights police said Christopher Skebo was arrested Friday after an investigation that began in early February and involved two students at the high school.

Police did not elaborate on the details of the investigation, but said it also involved a student from Warren Woods High School.

Skebo is charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of child sexually abusive activity, two counts of using computers/internet to communicate with another to commit a crime and two counts of tampering with evidence. All are felonies.

His preliminary exam is set for March 14.
