DETROIT - Thursday morning will be cool with a lovely moon (almost Blue) before sunrise. Lows will be in the 50s. The afternoon and Friday are the best times to hit the pool or beach before Labor Day Weekend. Thursday becomes very warm and mostly sunny with highs in the middle and upper 80s with a southerly wind.
"Isaac" continues dumping on Louisiana, Arkansas and Missouri as it crawls north into the Midwest.
Thursday night will be perfect for amateur and pro astronomers. It will be mostly clear with lows in the 60s and a Blue Moon.
Friday becomes hotter with highs in the 90s and more sunshine.
Saturday, Sunday and Labor Day become cloudy and not as hot. Saturday's highs will be in the low 80s with grayer skies. Sunday and Monday will have highs in the 70s. It becomes more humid with the approach of the remnants of "Isaac." Showers are possible Sunday and Monday, but this it depends on how fast the system moves and how much energy it loses.
