Video shows man stealing money for bill, tip off table at Westland Buffalo Wild Wings

Man swipes money left by other customers

WESTLAND, Mich. – Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a man who stole money from a table at Buffalo Wild Wings in Westland.

According to police, the theft happened at the restaurant at 6677 North Wayne Road.

The surveillance video shows a man and a woman sitting at a table, keeping an eye on a cash payment and tip on a table next to them. The man looks around multiple times before taking the money.

The crime had not been discovered until after they left.

The man is described as white, about 30 years of age, 6 feet tall, weighs 200 pounds and has a full beard. He was wearing a checkered shirt with blue jeans and was seen leaving in an older-model, tan, four-door Buick.
