Suspect arrested for SW Detroit indecent exposure incidents

DETROIT – Police have arrested a suspect for indecent exposure incidents near Cesar Chavez Senior High School in southwest Detroit.

Police say the suspect exposed himself to nine female victims in May. In all the cases the suspect would call out to the victims to get their attention and then fondle and expose himself to them.

During the last incident the suspect was in the area of Vernor and Mckinstry when the suspect again called out to the victim and exposed himself to her.  The victim acquired the license plate of the vehicle and the suspect fled the area in his vehicle. 

Officers in the Fourth Precinct received information from the victims and identified the suspect, Sabino Hernandez-Contreras, who was arrested without incident at his home. 

Hernandez-Contreras, age 32, was arraigned at 36th District Court on May 27, 2015 for Aggravated Indecent Exposure and Indecent Exposure. Bond was set at $50,000 cash. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 24, 2015.
