Jeremy Jackson, 24, and 20-year-old Jamare Rucker are accused of opening fire on security guard Courtney Meeks when he confronted them in the parking lot of a CVS store in the 16900 block of Schaefer on Feb. 26.

A third suspect, 26-year-old Ronnie Anderson-Williams, is not charged in Meek's death but is accused of being part of the group when they tried to carjack a woman before Meek's death.

Meeks, 24, who was on duty at the store, was responding to the cries for help from a mother, her young son and another family member who were allegedly being carjacked by the suspects at gunpoint.
