Woman sues Milwaukee Brewers over foul ball incident

Suit says team was negligent

(LAKANA) – A New Jersey woman is suing the Milwaukee Brewers and their insurance company after a foul ball incident left her injured.

Dana Morelli was hit in the head by a foul ball during batting practice in 2014 at Miller Park and claims she still suffers from those injuries, the Journal Sentinel reports.

The ball hit her left eye and according to the suit, she sustained damage to the eye as well as a concussion.

The lawsuit said the parties were negligent in providing a barrier and warning fans about foul balls.

Morelli is seeking damages. The team declined to comment to the newspaper about the legal battle.
